Duties
- Assist servers by bussing tables efficiently, clearing dishes, and resetting tables to maintain a clean and inviting dining space
- Support food running duties by delivering orders promptly from the kitchen to guests with professionalism and care
- Perform thorough cleaning of dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold food safety standards
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes, and supplies using safe lifting practices to prevent injury
- Aid in food handling and preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain excellent communication with team members using POS systems like Aloha POS to ensure accurate order processing
- Assist with banquet setups and breakdowns, providing additional support during busy service times
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures, bussing, and basic food preparation techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
