Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Server to join our team, committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for curating unique guest interactions, creating lasting impressions, and fostering relationships that encourage repeat visits. This role requires a professional with a passion for fine dining, extensive food and beverage knowledge, and the ability to engage guests in a memorable manner.
Duties
- Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process orders and payments accurately.
- Recommend and serve a variety of beverages, including wines, spirits, and cocktails, demonstrating strong knowledge of each.
- Curate unique guest experiences by engaging with guests about menu options, wine pairings, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, including food ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the service area in compliance with safety standards.
- Build rapport with guests to foster loyalty and encourage repeat visits through excellent service and genuine engagement.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods in a fine dining environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service, particularly in fine dining settings.
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and beverage pairings.
- Experience operating POS systems efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
- Passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service.
- Prior experience in wine knowledge or cocktail crafting is highly desirable.
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
