We are hiring CDL-A regional drivers in the Alexandria, VA area for a full-time position running Eastern seaboard lanes. This account runs up and down the East Coast - loads don't go far west, keeping drivers in familiar territory. All experience levels welcome.
PAY
- $1,400 - $1,600 average weekly earnings
- CPM: $0.55 - $0.80 based on experience
- Stop pay: $15 per stop
- $2,000 sign-on bonus
- Weekly mileage: 2,000 – 2,500 average
- Paid weekly
JOB DETAILS
- Position: Full-Time - Eastern Regional
- Equipment: Dry van
- Freight: Mix of drop and hook, preload, live load, and live unload
- Running area: Eastern seaboard - loads run up and down the East Coast.
- Home Time: Every two weeks, Weekends
- Shift: Both day and night
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- All experience levels welcome
- Clean driving record
- Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
- No special endorsements required
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate a Class A dry van truck on Eastern seaboard regional lanes
- Pick up and deliver freight - drop and hook
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all equipment
- Maintain accurate and current ELD logs at all times
- Follow all DOT regulations and carrier safety policies
- Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding pickup, delivery, and any delays
