Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Order Fulfillment Associate to join our fast-paced warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety. Your proactive approach will ensure timely delivery, optimal inventory management, and a seamless warehouse operation. Duties
- Accurately pick orders using RF scanners and barcode scanning systems to ensure correct items are selected for each shipment
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse
- Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials while adhering to quality control standards
- Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves efficiently and conducting regular cycle counts with inventory management systems
- Prepare shipments for dispatch by labeling packages correctly and coordinating with shipping & receiving teams
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and manual handling procedures to prevent injuries
- Assist in warehouse distribution tasks such as load & unload operations, order picking & packing, and materials handling to support overall warehouse operations
Skills
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems for accurate stock control
- Skilled in order fulfillment processes with an eye for detail to minimize errors in picking & packing
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for inventory counts and measurements
- Familiarity with barcode scanning technology for logistics accuracy
- Excellent understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and manual handling in a warehouse setting
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $25.02 - $30.13 per hour
