Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options while adhering to recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring excellent customer service
- Manage bar operations efficiently using POS systems such as toast
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate with management about stock requirements
- Handle cash transactions accurately while managing multiple orders during busy periods with effective time management
Requirements
Must be 21
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role within fine dining or upscale hospitality environments
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation including cocktails, wine varieties, craft beer, and beverage recipe development
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling of food and beverages
- Experience with banquet or catering service is a plus but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management
