Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our towing company. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting disabled cars and trucks across various routes, ensuring deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and towing vehicles help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while contributing to a dynamic tow team that values safety, precision, and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Operating a rollback tow truck with efficiency. Work hours are from 7am-7pm
- Loading and unloading cars and trucks safely, ensuring proper securing of vehicles.
- Transport various types of vehicles from cars, trucks, suv, motorcycles, etc….
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pick up’s and drop off’s S
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations
- Skilled in operating trucks and specialized equipment such as tow trucks
- Ability to handle truck loading/unloading a vehicle
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments during trips
- Excellent skills for load & unload while maintaining safety standards
- Valid driver’s license
