Royal Sips LLC is a growing, traveling bartending and event staffing company seeking experienced, professional, dependable, and motivated bartenders to join our team.
We provide hospitality services for weddings, corporate events, private parties, birthday celebrations, and other special occasions throughout Washington, DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia, and surrounding areas.
Because we are a mobile event staffing company, our team travels to different venues and private locations based on client bookings. Reliable transportation is preferred but not required. Applicants must be willing and able to travel to assigned event locations.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
- Mix cocktails according to recipes and client preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests.
- Set up, organize, maintain, and break down bar stations.
- Ensure the bar area remains clean, stocked, and organized throughout events.
- Check identification and follow responsible alcohol service laws.
- Monitor alcohol consumption and serve guests responsibly.
- Assist with preparing garnishes, mixers, and bar supplies.
- Work professionally with event coordinators, servers, and other staff.
- Follow event timelines, instructions, and client expectations.
- Assist with cleanup and breakdown at the conclusion of events.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous bartending experience preferred.
- TIPS or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification preferred.
- Knowledge of popular cocktails, spirits, wines, and beer.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Must be comfortable working in fast-paced event environments.
- Must be willing to travel throughout the DMV and surrounding areas.
- Reliable transportation preferred but not required.
- Must meet the legal age requirements for serving alcohol in the event location.
- Must be available for occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Uniform and Dress Code
Royal Sips LLC maintains a professional dress code for all events.
All bartenders are required to provide and wear:
- Black collared dress shirt
- Black dress pants
- All-black, closed-toe, slip-resistant shoes
- Black vest when required
- Tie when required, based on event colors or theme
All clothing must be clean, pressed, properly fitted, and professional in appearance.
Staff members must arrive at each event dressed in the required uniform.
Compensation
- Starting pay: $20 per hour plus tips.
- Event-based, part-time opportunities.

- Shift availability varies depending on client needs.

Scheduling and Availability
Royal Sips LLC operates on an event-based schedule. Hours are not guaranteed and depend on confirmed client bookings.
Team members will be notified of available events and may accept shifts based on their availability.
Staff must arrive at the designated reporting time, typically one hour before the event begins, to assist with setup and preparation.
