No Experience CDL A Truck Driver - Dedicated
OPENING
We are hiring full-time CDL-A drivers in the Washington DC and Upper Marlboro, MD area. Run steady, familiar lanes, get home 3 or more nights every week, and keep most of your weekends off. Fresh out of school? Welcome. Experienced? Even better. We have a seat for both.
PAY
- CPM rate: $0.70 to $0.74 per mile
- Stop pay: $25.00 per stop
- Average weekly pay: $1,400-$1,600
- Paid for every mile you run and every stop you make
JOB DETAILS
- Position: Full-Time CDL-A Driver, Day Shift
- Hiring area: Washington DC and Upper Marlboro, MD
- Lanes: Round trip
- Schedule: 5 and 6 day work weeks
- Home time: 3+ nights per week, weekends off
- Weekend work: Voluntary
- Holidays: No holiday work currently
- Experience: Trainee or First Seat (Experienced)

ORIENTATION AND ONBOARDING
We get you on the road the right way. You start with a paid orientation, then ride with a team that wants you to succeed. Trainees get hands-on support from day one, and experienced drivers get a quick, smooth start on the lanes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid CDL-A license
- 21 years of age or older
- Clean driving record
- Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate a CDL-A truck on assigned lanes
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate ELD electronic logs
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate with dispatch regarding trip progress
