Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, consistency, and creativity
- Follow established recipes and menu plans to ensure quality standards are met
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient preparation to optimize kitchen efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and timely meal delivery
- Support catering events and special meal requests with professionalism and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dietary departments, food preparation, or culinary roles is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Experience with menu planning, food industry practices, or fine dining environments is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high standards
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Prior dietary aide or restaurant experience will be considered an asset
