Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fine dining and catering, with extensive experience in kitchen management, food production, and menu planning. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Duties

Lead and manage the kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
Develop and execute innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting guest preferences
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency
Manage inventory control and ordering of supplies to maintain optimal stock levels
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen
Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food handling practices, and safety protocols
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service during events and regular dining hours
Plan and execute banquet services for special events, ensuring all details are meticulously handled
Monitor food costs and labor expenses to maintain budgetary goals while delivering exceptional quality

Experience

Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role within the food industry
Strong background in fine dining, catering, or restaurant management
Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing shifts effectively
Knowledge of dietary department operations is a plus
Proficient in menu planning, food service management, and inventory management
Culinary experience with a focus on cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation skills
Excellent leadership abilities with a passion for team management and development
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
