IRON GATE is looking for hospitality focused servers to join the team!

Iron Gate, a D.C. institution, is looking for individuals with a passion for food, beverage, and hospitality. Our servers currenlty make $30-50/hr, and benefits are available for full-time employees. We also offer many opportunities for advancement as we are one of the few restaurant groups actually growing these days! Experience is important, but we are most interested in hiring the right people!

Chef Antony Chittum features his ever-changing menu with Greek and Italian influences, sourcing from local purveyors wherever possible. Everything is made from scratch using only the best ingredients and features wood and charcoal cooking. Animals are butchered whole in house, seafood is sustainably sourced and there is a strong focus on supporting small local farms.

Iron Gate has been a continual recipient of awards and accolades in its ten years in Dupont Circle. The restaurant has been featured in The Michelin Guide, Washingtonian Magazine's "100 Very Best Restaurants," and Washington Post critic Tom Sietsema says "Count me pleased" with a three star review at Chef Tony's Italian and Greek inspired menu.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food, and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Utilize POS systems efficiently to process orders accurately and handle payments.
- Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and customer experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area to create a welcoming environment for guests.
