PrideStaff, a nationally recognized staffing company, has partnered with a top local employer to find a dedicated Counter Sales Associate for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. This is a chance to start a new career with on-the-job training and genuine growth potential!

Pay Rate: $18 - $20/hr
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Weekend Shift: Every other Saturday as a half-day.
Location: Rockville, MD

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence: Professionally greet customers, promote products, and identify opportunities for add-on sales to meet customer needs.
Administrative & Inventory Support: Accurately process customer orders and returns, maintain detailed records, and ensure timely follow-up on backorders.
Paperwork & Organization: Demonstrate strong admin/paperwork skills by maintaining organized files and processing sales documentation efficiently.
Display & Maintenance: Assist in managing clean and attractive showroom displays and maintain a clean work area.
Sales Generation: Engage in networking and prospecting activities to generate new customer accounts.

What We're Looking For (Core Requirements):

We are seeking a candidate who embodies reliability and a commitment to quality work.

Reliability & Attendance is a MUST: Must possess a strong work ethic and a proven track record of great attendance (never calls out).
Organization & Detail: Must be very organized and detail-oriented with proven admin/paperwork skills.
Customer Interaction: Strong customer service skills are essential.
Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma required. Some experience and understanding of the sales process is a plus.
Technical Skills: Computer/keyboard skills and some proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Physical Demands: Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs and move up to 250lbs utilizing warehouse equipment.
Availability: Must be able to work the full schedule, including Saturdays as scheduled.
