Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Non-CDL Box Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently using company truck. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations while ensuring timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

Operate a 26-foot box truck safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Load and unload cargo, often with the assistance of a lift gate, pallet jack, or hand truck, ensuring proper securing of all items.
Follow designated routes for deliveries while maintaining schedules and adhering to traffic laws.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any potential issues on the road.
Utilize manual transmission when required and operate forklifts for loading/unloading tasks as needed.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Proven experience in truck driving or delivery driver roles is preferred.
Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills to ensure timely deliveries.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Adhere strictly to DOT regulations for non-CDL vehicles, company safety standards, and all relevant local, state, and federal laws.
