School Facilities & Grounds Assistant / Custodian

Pay: $13.00–$16.00 per hour (based on experience)

Center is seeking a dependable and hardworking School Facilities & Grounds Assistant / Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our children, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash throughout the school.
Maintain outdoor play areas, sidewalks, and school grounds.
Assist with minor repairs, basic maintenance, and facility upkeep.
Set up and clean up for school events and activities as needed.
Monitor and restock cleaning and restroom supplies.
Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to management.

Qualifications

Previous custodial, janitorial, maintenance, or facilities experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
