The Breakfast Club is looking for a strong Server Assistant to take orders and deliver them to our guests maintaining and enhancing the quality of our customer service. A servers’ duties will consist of working in close collaboration with colleagues and following established health and safety standards on a daily basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

The ideal candidate works well in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and is quick on their feet while working effectively under pressure. Key Responsibilities:

Assist with preparing restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order.
Assist with attending to customers upon entrance to the restaurant.
Assist with presenting menus, serving and helping customers select food/beverages.
Assist with taking/serving orders and answer questions or make recommendations for other products.
Assist with handling and completing the logistics with all food delivery orders.
Assist with resolving complaints or issues with a positive and professional attitude.
Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Assist with issuing bills and accept payment for processing.
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge.
Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
Basic English language and professional communication skills are required.

Qualifications:

Proven knowledge of being a server within a full service restaurant, along with health and safety protocols.
Excellent understanding of customer service, resolving customers’ complaints, procedures.
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
Familiar with industry’s best practices.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment while effectively delegating tasks.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
Must be able to lift / carry items up to 40 lbs. and push / pull items up to 75 lbs.
Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting and reaching overhead.
