We are seeking to hire qualified Medical Assistants to join us at Motamedi and Associates. You will be responsible for performing clinical duties including performing COVID-19 testing, triaging patients, obtaining a medical history, performing EKGs and assisting health care providers in a variety of clinical tasks. In addition, you will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. This will include answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, assisting with charting, and relaying lab results to patients.

Must have all day availability 8am-5pm-- no exceptions. Optional flexibility throughout the week. 20 hours/week minimum.

Responsibilities

Interview patients and document basic medical history
Perform COVID-19 tests
Perform EKGs
Organize and schedule appointments
Update and file medical records and insurance reports
Relay lab results to patients
Assist during medical examinations
Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
Manage medical inventory

Skills

High school diploma required
Certification preferred, but not required
Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary required
Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
Social perceptiveness and service oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
eClinicalWorks experience preferred

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
