Metalpro is hiring a CDL A Truck Driver. Operate tri axle grapple truck and drive tractor trailer. We will train on grapple truck.

$30 per hour to start plus overtime. We pay 1.5 overtime after 40 hours.

1.5 overtime pay is a significant part of compensation.

Local work, steady, year round. Monday to Friday. 100% late model Kenworth T880 trucks and tractors.

Metalpro, is a 36 year old commercial recycling company. We are an ethical, safe, small company, with low turnover, headquartered in Springfield, VA. USDOT 343106. Our average driver has worked at Metalpro for over 12 years.

Operate grapple truck servicing our customers handling their scrap metals and used tires. Also drive tractor trailers between our yards and to/from various recycling facilities. Drop and hook or live floor unload.

Experienced proven drivers can park their truck near home. Another driver based in Maryland would work well.

This is not an entry level position. You must have:

Significant heavy truck driving experience.

Safety comes first attitude.

Very good driving record.

We comply with DOT hours of service regulations. We have used electronic driver logs for over 20 years.
Start time between 3:00 AM and 5:30 AM primarily depends upon your preference.

52 to 60 hours of work per week. 52 hours per week minimum. Some drivers prefer to work 55 to 60 hours per week.
