TV One & CLEO TV are seeking an experienced Executive Administrative Assistant to provide high-level support to our Vice President of Partnerships & Marketing and Vice President of Content Distribution. This role combines executive support, project coordination, and event management in a fast-paced media environment. Your work will directly support executives and cross-functional teams while ensuring seamless event execution, strategic reporting, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and skilled at managing multiple priorities with discretion.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee administrative logistics for national and regional trade shows, local promotions, and events, ensuring seamless registration, planning, and execution in collaboration with distribution and marketing teams.
Partner with sales executives to develop high-quality presentations and marketing materials that enhance client engagement and drive partnership opportunities.
Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis, utilizing internal data, digital tools, and industry trends to inform strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
Track competitive streaming content and key cultural and entertainment events (e.g., StreamTV Show, CBC, Essence Music Festival, ABFF), delivering insights on programming trends, audience engagement, and emerging opportunities.
Maintain accurate client databases, manage promotional assets, and support sourcing efforts to improve operational efficiency.
Monitor and report on competitor activity, including channel positioning, distribution strategies, and promotional efforts, to support informed decision-making.
Represent TV One/CLEO TV at industry events, fostering relationships and maintaining a consistent brand presence.
Provide comprehensive administrative support to executives, including calendar management, travel coordination, expense processing, and communications management. Lead and contribute to special projects and cross-functional initiatives that support organizational growth and key business objectives.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration tools.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; able to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
Proactive, detail-oriented problem solver with high initiative.
Event planning, database management, and report preparation experience preferred.
Ability to travel and work nights/weekends as required. Legal right to work in the U.S.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree preferred, equivalent administrative experience acceptable. 3+ years supporting senior executives, ideally in media, entertainment, or content distribution.
