Duties

Greet guests warmly in both Spanish and English, providing attentive guest services from seating to departure
Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication of guest preferences
Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest experiences and increase sales
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and manage waitlists effectively

Experience

Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is highly preferred
Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required, with excellent communication skills in both languages
Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations is essential
Background in hospitality or guest services roles demonstrates strong customer relations abilities
Familiarity with culinary terminology, food preparation techniques, and kitchen operations enhances service quality
Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining a positive attitude
