Duties

Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmission to deliver ice products along assigned routes.
Load and unload ice supplies using heavy lifting techniques, forklifts, or pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records for each trip.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and addressing any delivery concerns promptly.
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before departure.
Collaborate with warehouse staff for inventory management and timely loading of deliveries.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or similar role involving route driving and heavy lifting.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred.
Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads and moving items safely using forklifts or pallet jacks.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
Knowledge of warehouse procedures and safety standards related to loading/unloading cargo.
Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and route navigation tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $240.00 - $350.00 per day
