Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using the Toast POS system.
Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to ensure an exceptional bar experience while taking orders, answering questions about drinks, and making recommendations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, adhering to food safety and food handling standards.
Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and processing payments swiftly.
Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightlife or nightclub settings, while ensuring compliance with alcohol service regulations.
Restock bar inventory as needed, track sales using retail math skills, and assist with catering or banquet events when required.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special events such as banquets or private parties.

Requirements

Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within fine dining establishments or nightclubs; banquet experience is a plus.
Familiarity with the Toast POS system for order entry and sales processing.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during high-volume periods.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order totaling.
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Experience in catering is advantageous; retail math knowledge is beneficial for inventory management.
