I. Summary:

Life Science Products, Inc. (LSP), an employee-owned company, has been providing interior Wall, Floor, Ceiling, Door and Wall Protection products to the Medical Science and Technology Research Field for over 40 years. Our proven solutions are used by the most highly respected Government, Private and Public Medical Research Institutions in the U.S. and Canada. LSP also offers a full range of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for lab research personnel. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate and Driver. This position will report to the Warehouse Supervisor, and is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels, material tracking, and routine upkeep in the warehouse. This position will also be responsible for staging orders correctly, as well as prepare and provide high quality samples for marketing and maintaining a supply for use at all times. II. Duties and Responsibilities:

· Receive and coordinate incoming material. Ensure recording of incoming and outgoing material and maintain accurate computer and physical inventory. Ensure orders are correct as according to receiving paperwork. Check incoming quality. Route paperwork as required. Label product as required ensuring correct product label and placement.

· Unload containers and properly process paperwork and items. Check items against paperwork and make certain of quality. Ensures items are correct, correctly labeled and stored as per procedure. Routes paperwork.

· Store and shelve items, efficiently utilizing warehouse space and maintaining a reasonable and acceptable organization for ease of finding product. Ensure that all entrances, exits, aisles and dock areas remain unobstructed and free of debris.

· Conduct monthly physical inventory and cycle counts and maintain inventory through the tracking of incoming and outgoing material, including material taken on an emergency basis.

· Provide samples for marketing purposes. Ensure samples are of high quality, are labeled and that an adequate supply is maintained.

· Perform as a driver of 26’ box truck for delivery of orders. Follows all fleet safety procedures.

· Other duties as assigned.

III. Skilled Requirements:

· High School graduate or GED for math, reading and writing skills.

· Must possess a valid driver license with proven insurability. Must maintain an insurable MVR.

· Experience with standard office products (Microsoft Office, etc.) and accounting applications desired.

· Work as a team member towards efficient and timely support of divisions through organization and availability of material and the truck fleet.

· Utilize good communication and organizational skills to ensure systems are maintained.

· Able to lift 80 pounds on a repetitive basis.

· Able to climb and work at heights up to 20 feet.

IV. Work Hours and Traveling:

Normal work days are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Overtime may apply. Local delivery of products is required.
