Full-Time Sales Associate – J. Press, Washington DC

J. Press, the iconic American heritage brand known for its Ivy League tailoring tradition, is seeking a skilled Full-Time Sales Associate to join our Washington, DC team.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
Provide personalized styling and product recommendations
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Achieve individual and store sales goals
Process transactions accurately and efficiently
Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and store presentation
Follow up with clients regarding special orders, alterations, and new arrivals
Maintain a thorough knowledge of products, fabrics, and current collections
Support daily store operations as needed

Requirements:

Previous retail sales experience preferred, ideally in menswear, apparel, or specialty retail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Availability to work weekends and some holidays
