Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and maintaining cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food safety, proper food handling, and timely food preparation
Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to assist with guest seating and waitlist management
Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
Excellent communication skills combined with basic math skills for accurate check processing and cash handling
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and nights as needed in a lively nightclub or restaurant setting
