Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome.
Take accurate food and drink orders using the cash register or point-of-sale system.
Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations by following proper food handling procedures.
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance the dining experience.
Sanitate dining areas, utensils, and equipment regularly to maintain hygiene standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Ability to handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and operating a cash register.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Experience in food preparation or familiarity with menu items is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Team player mentality with the willingness to help colleagues as needed.
