Toone & Associates, LLP, a small Rockville Tax & Accounting Firm, is seeking a full-time, courteous, and friendly Executive Assistant to assist with customer service and data entry.

Applicants should have excellent grammar and a clear speaking voice.

Duties will include:

Managing email and office correspondence.
Greeting clients and handling customer service inquiries.
Assisting with a multi-line phone system.
Researching tax return statuses.
Assisting with client portal access and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Applicants MUST be able to multi-task seamlessly, handle tasks in a fast-paced environment, and maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive financial data. This administrative position is for someone with customer service experience, strong and accurate typing, word processing capabilities, a high level of attention to detail, strong computer skills, and technological savvy.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM. This is a great working environment in a small, 10-person office with friendly and professional co-workers.

Tax Season (February – April): Half-day Saturdays are required.
Summer Months: Our office is closed on Fridays!

Please note that our office is not located near a Metro station and the closest bus stop is several blocks away, so reliable transportation is a must.

As an Executive Assistant, you will be essential in maintaining efficient office operations and providing outstanding customer support. Your core skills in clerical tasks, computer literacy, and organizational abilities will enable you to manage communications, data entry, and filing effectively. You will assist in workflow tracking and ensure a well-organized workspace. Your relevant experience with Microsoft Office and calendar management will further enhance productivity, making you a vital asset to our team in delivering exceptional service and support.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
