Responsibilities

Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously at catering events, banquets, and fine dining settings
Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to meet quality standards
Support guest services by addressing inquiries, providing menu information, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Clear tables promptly, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness in service areas
Manage beverage service including wine knowledge, pouring, and replenishing drinks as needed
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for order processing and payments
Uphold food safety standards by handling food properly and maintaining hygiene throughout service

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is highly preferred
Strong guest services skills with a focus on guest relations and customer satisfaction
Experience in banquet or catering settings is a plus, along with fine dining or hotel experience
Knowledge of food handling, serving techniques, and beverage service including wine expertise
Ability to perform basic math for transactions and portion control
Familiarity with food safety protocols and food preparation procedures
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential
