**Overview:**

We are seeking a talented Lighting Technician/Sales associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of lighting design tied with interior and exterior design skills.

Duties and responsibilities

— Fun, outgoing, person with a passion for helping others. This is a must.

— Develop and maintain expertise in lighting products, vendors, and trends. Training available to supplement prior knowledge.

—Conduct sales ranging from store walk-ins to contractor sales to online and phone sales. This includes placing orders for sales in timely manner, tracking orders and payments for orders, and following up with customers to arrange pick-up/delivery and ensure customer satisfaction.

—IT knowledge: Capable of working in our sales platform, currently XO logic. Responsible for notifying XO Logic and LIGHT managers/owners as needed when issues arise. Training will be provided. Fluent with Microsoft products.

—Social media: Proficiency with Facebook and Instagram required, other platforms desired.

—Track inventory of supplies for counter sales; take primary responsibility for preemptively maintaining necessary supplies/inventory.

—Complete Daily Sales Report (DSR).

—Maintain proper cleanliness and other aspects of store’s physical appearance (interior and exterior of store), to include lightbulb display and all forms of signage.

—Ensure basement shelves, storage, supplies, etc. are efficiently and clearly organized.

—Prepare supplies/orders for electricians and clients.

—Develop and maintain an ongoing list of potential sales leads.

—Understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).

—Other duties as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
