Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and specialty drinks while adhering to recipes and presentation standards
Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service
Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems and Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to enhance menu offerings
Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations based on their preferences and promote specials or upcoming events
Collaborate with team members to manage busy service periods efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards

Experience

Proven experience as a bartender or server in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions
Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer trends, and beverage recipe development
Experience in fine dining settings or upscale venues is highly desirable
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously through effective time management skills
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math for inventory management, and food safety knowledge to ensure proper food handling practices
