Your on-site work schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 7:45am to 3:45pm with Fridays primarily virtual, providing added flexibility and ongoing connection with colleagues and families. This role spans from September through December and focuses on providing high-quality support to middle school students during these critical months of development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Valid and current licensure as a Social Worker (LMSW, LCSW, or equivalent) in the state
Experience working within a school setting, particularly at the middle school level
Strong understanding of student advocacy, crisis intervention, and counseling strategies
Effective communication and collaboration skills with scholars, staff, and families
Commitment to equity, inclusion, and fostering a positive school climate

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of 25-30 middle school students, offering direct counseling and case management
Conduct needs assessments and intervention planning to address academic and social-emotional needs
Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and outside agencies to coordinate comprehensive support
Provide crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and restorative practices as needed
Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
