SUSHI CHEF

We are seeking an experienced sushi chef with 3+ years’ experience to work

Dinner Shifts on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday

Responsibilities include:

Handling and filleting raw fish. Preparing and making sushi rolls.
Creating and plating sushi orders and coordinating with servers to ensure efficient flow of orders.
Greeting and interacting with customers.
Managing food stock and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Pay: $22-26 base pay plus server tip out.

Shifts:

Sunday & Monday Dinner: 2:30-8:30pm
Wednesday Dinner: 3:30-8:30pm
Friday & Saturday Dinner : 3:30-9:00pm

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Requirements: Sushi chef must have:

Three years’ experience as a sushi chef
Good knowledge of various sushi types, nigiri, sashimi, sushi-rolling techniques, and knife skills
Ability to be efficient and multi-task in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Good communication skills and positive attitude with customers and employees
Self-motivation and ability to be calm under pressure
Punctual, organized, reliable, and flexible
Keeps a clean and orderly work station
Reliable transportation to our location required
