The Morrison-Clark Inn, located near the Convention Center, has outstanding opportunities for excellent servers. We are currently hiring for a Full-Time Server to work in the restaurant.

The main responsibility is to serve food and beverage to guests in a courteous and friendly manner in accordance with established hotel guest service standards.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner.
Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system.
Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions.
Upsell food and beverage items to enhance the guest experience.
Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register with precision.
Ensure that all food safety standards are met during preparation and service.
Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a POS system is beneficial.
Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards.
Strong guest relations skills to foster a welcoming environment for all patrons.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while managing multiple tasks.

The successful candidate will have a great personality and excellent customer service skills. Candidates for the Server position must be able to work a flexible schedule. The Server position requires the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
