Sales Assistant (Entry-Level Sales Support)

Perfect Settings is a full-service event rental company that's served the Washington, DC metro area for nearly 30 years, with 15+ million pieces of inventory — tables, chairs, linens, China, bars, and more. We're growing our sales team and looking for an organized, motivated Sales Assistant to support our sales reps in day to day operations. You'll work directly alongside our sales team, learn the business from the inside, and have a real path to grow in the company.

What you'll do:

Serve as the first point of contact by answering incoming phone calls professionally and promptly
Screen incoming calls and transfer them to the appropriate person or department
Answer general customer inquiries and provide basic product and service information
Process small rental orders, order changes, and routine customer requests including taking photos and measurements when required
Process customer payments accurately and efficiently
Assist with Dispatch operations and communicate updates as needed
Monitor and respond to the front door intercom
Provide general administrative support to help maintain efficient daily operations

What we're looking for:

Strong communication and organizational skills,
Comfort juggling multiple clients in a fast-paced team environment
Proficient Computer skills
Willingness to learn our order/CRM system,
Event/catering/rental experience a plus but not required

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
Two half-day Saturdays a month.
After Hours Emergency Line once a week

Salary:

Starting at $50,000+,
Negotiable based on Experience
Previewed at 90 days
Plus bonus up to 10%,
