Job Description

Safeway is seeking a friendly and dependable Store Associate to support daily store operations in Washington, DC. This position involves assisting customers, stocking merchandise, maintaining clean and organized sales areas, and helping ensure a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide helpful service
Stock and organize products on store shelves
Assist customers in locating merchandise
Maintain clean and organized aisles and displays
Operate registers when needed
Check product prices and inventory
Follow store safety and customer-service procedures
Support other departments and store operations as needed

Requirements

Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable and dependable work habits
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Ability to stand, walk, and lift merchandise as required
Flexible availability for assigned shifts
