Essential Job Duties:

Must enjoy working with children
Confirm weekly menus with school director
Prepare and serve meals according to approved menus
Maintain inventory and complete food & supply orders when needed Adhere to the school’s budgetary needs as well as state & federal requirements Clean and sanitize kitchen after each meal
Always maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen
Help in classrooms and other areas as needed (typically for short periods of time) Always maintain physical demands

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent
Possess a valid driver’s license
Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Physical Demands:

Ability to bend, squat, lift to 60 pounds; stand and walk for extended periods of time
Ability to read, write, speak, hear, think, communicate, concentrate, learn and work Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of general administrative tasks
Problem solving skills
Ability to communicate verbally clearly and effectively and in writing Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
Ability to multi-task
Regular and reliable attendance
