Essential Job Duties:
- Must enjoy working with children
- Confirm weekly menus with school director
- Prepare and serve meals according to approved menus
- Maintain inventory and complete food & supply orders when needed Adhere to the school’s budgetary needs as well as state & federal requirements Clean and sanitize kitchen after each meal
- Always maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen
- Help in classrooms and other areas as needed (typically for short periods of time) Always maintain physical demands
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Physical Demands:
- Ability to bend, squat, lift to 60 pounds; stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to read, write, speak, hear, think, communicate, concentrate, learn and work Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of general administrative tasks
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate verbally clearly and effectively and in writing Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
- Ability to multi-task
- Regular and reliable attendance
