Looking for that private practice experience but without all the hassle of starting your own clinic? Ellie Mental Health - Chantilly or Ellie Mental Health - Herndon may just be the perfect fit for you. We are looking to add additional staff on our team as we expand to include a second location! Ideally we would like to have pre-licensed (currently in residency in Virginia) or licensed therapists (licensed in Virginia) who has a desire to specialize in one of the following areas:
- Couples or Family Work
- Eating Disorder Treatment
- Working with OCD or experience with HRT (habit reversal) or ERP (exposure response prevention)
- Treatment for Addiction
- Youth Services
- or someone seeking to become a registered play therapist (RPT)
This person will be responsible for performing clinical activities such as independent assessments and service interventions as directed by the treatment plan and/or identified consumer need(s). This position offers the opportunity to work in office with remote flexibilities/telehealth options. The ideal candidate will display compassion and authenticity in their work, while also bringing energy, humor, and excitement to the workplace. To help ensure your success, this position is being offered as a full-time position only.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
- Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
- Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 27 completed client visits per week
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
- Other stuff we probably forgot to add but is likely just as meaningful and important to your role ;)
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and on track to obtain licensure in their designated field
- Candidates ideally would have clinical licensure for practice in Virginia as an LMHP-R or LMHP-S, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW
- Prior experience with completing assessments, treatment plans and clinical case notes
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
- Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
- Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be able to be credentialed with insurance panels (let us do that part for you!)
