Job Title: Computer Demanufacturer - Manual Labor
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Computer Demanufacturer. In this manual labor role, you will be responsible for the disassembly of computer hardware, organizing components, and maintaining an orderly workspace. This position requires prolonged periods of standing and the ability to handle physical tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble computer systems and related hardware into individual components.
- Sort and organize extracted parts into designated containers or storage areas.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to company safety protocols.
- Identify and set aside components that are reusable or require special handling.
- Assist in inventory management by labeling and recording disassembled parts accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment necessary for the disassembly process.
- Report any malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manual labor or assembly/disassembly role is preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and maintaining a safe work environment.
Work Environment: This position involves working in a warehouse or workshop setting where safety equipment may be required. The role is physically demanding, requiring manual dexterity and the ability to handle tools and components safely.
