The ideal Front of House/Restaurant Manager has a passion for food, beverage and ambiance with a genuine ability to connect with our guests and team members. In addition, as a leader, you are responsible for maintaining the highest levels of hospitality and service exceeding expectations.
We are looking to expand and need these positions fulfilled in the Washington, DC area.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing all aspects of the restaurant, including but not limited to staffing, training, scheduling, and inventory management
- Lead by example, providing exceptional service and fostering a positive work environment for the team
- Collaborate with the culinary team to uphold the highest quality and consistency of food and beverage
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, implementing strategies to maximize revenue and control costs
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback and ratings in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant to uphold health, sanitation and safety standards
- Utilizing systems, stay informed and implement best practices to enhance the guest experience and overall operation
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment, preferably in a management role.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer complaints and concerns effectively.
- Experience with kitchen management, food preparation, and food service.
- Knowledge of food handling and production procedures.
- Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
