WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Program is currently recruiting for an highly organized and focused professional with knowledge emergency response planning and experience in warehouse and inventory management. The position supports a variety of activities, including, but not limited to, training, exercises and drills, as well as, managing medical materiel and movement of equipment and supplies. As part of a public health response team, activities, when necessary, include, initiatives focused on set-up and staffing emergency command and control, supporting infrastructure in the Public Health Command Center and County Emergency Operations Center, receipt and distribution of medical countermeasures, equipment, and/or supplies to various clinics or points of dispensing.
Experience: Some (two (2) years) of applicable experience in emergency management and/or public safety plans and practices; disaster recovery; hazard mitigation; exercise planning and coordination.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited or university in such fields as emergency management, public safety, public administration, or a related field.
Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
