We’re looking for a bilingual Housekeeping Supervisor who is passionate about hospitality and ready to lead our housekeeping team in delivering unparalleled guest experiences.
Responsibilities include organizing employee shifts, training and motivating team members and checking private and public areas for tidiness. If you’re a detail-oriented professional with a knack for leadership, this role is an excellent opportunity to shine in a prime location.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage housekeeping staff, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Conduct daily inspections to maintain consistency in luxury-level cleanliness and readiness.
- Train and mentor housekeeping team members to uphold service excellence.
- Coordinate with the front desk and other departments to manage room availability and handle special guest requests.
- Maintain inventory and ensure that cleaning supplies and guest amenities are well-stocked.
- Respond to and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
- Enforce health and safety protocols, including adherence to OSHA and property-specific standards.
- Assist with recruiting, on-boarding, and evaluating housekeeping staff performance.
- Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence.
- Promote a culture of teamwork and positivity among team members
Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) required for effective communication with team members and guests.
- At least 2 years of Housekeeping Supervisor experience or similar role, ideally in an upscale hotel or resort.
- Proven leadership skills with experience supervising and inspiring a team.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of housekeeping standards, equipment, and industry best practices.
- Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional hospitality or management training preferred.
