Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Golf Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about golf, providing top-tier customer experiences and being a part of the most welcoming space in golf. The Golf Sales Associate will be responsible for driving revenue through membership sales, event bookings, retail sales, and all golf-related services while ensuring all guests have an exceptional time at CitySwing.
Responsibilities
- Sales & Customer Engagement: Actively promote and sell memberships, private events, and all other CitySwing products to customers. Engage with customers to understand their needs and match them with the right services.
- Guest Experience: Provide an outstanding customer experience by welcoming guests, explaining how the simulators work, and offering assistance with gameplay.
- Retail & Merchandise: Assist guests with purchasing golf apparel, equipment, and accessories. Keep retail displays stocked and visually appealing.
- Event Support: Work closely with the events team to execute corporate and private events, ensuring seamless experiences for all attendees.
- Operational Support: Maintain a clean and organized facility, troubleshoot simulator issues, and help with basic tech support as needed.
- Community Engagement: Represent CitySwing in the local community, building relationships to drive foot traffic and increase brand awareness.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service
- Welcome customers to the studio and answer their queries
- Check-in clients and guests for lessons, sim rentals, and events
- Assess customer's needs and provide assistance and information
- Assist golf professionals with subscription enrollment
- Remain knowledgeable on products/services offered and discuss available options
- Ability to contribute to and support studio sales
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases
- Take customer food and beverage (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) orders and deliver them promptly
- Build productive and trusting relationships with customers
- Comply with inventory control procedures
- Help clean and maintain studio facilities
- Position may require lifting up to 50 lbs
- All other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Past work experience as a Retail Associate, Sales Representative, or Customer Service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a friendly and energetic personality
- Familiarity with customer service best practices
- Basic understanding of sales principles and/or experience with monthly sales goals
- Basic Math skills
- Hands-on experience with POS transactions
- Familiarity with inventory procedures
- Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints promptly
- Availability to work flexible shifts (nights and weekends)
- High school degree; BS degree in Business or a related field would be a plus
