Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at ChurchKey. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and delivering exceptional customer service with a passion for beer!
Duties:
- Prepare and serve beverages to customers following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when needed
- Operate the POS system to process orders and payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist in restocking bar inventory and supplies as needed
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons and ensure their overall satisfaction
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using POS systems to process transactions efficiently
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating orders
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and familiarity with various types of beverages is a plus
- Sales skills to promote specials and upsell menu items effectively
- Excellent time management to handle multiple tasks during busy periods
- Understanding of retail math for inventory management purposes
- Food handling certification or willingness to obtain one
