We are seeking multiple reliable and motivated Drivers to join our team. Drivers responsible for completing jobs safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. They interact with our customers in-person, and are part of a 2-person team who also loads the truck. This role requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, the ability to navigate safely in new areas, and the ability to frequently lift and carry objects up to 75lbs by yourself and up to 300lbs with the assistance of a teammate and appropriate equipment.

Duties
- Operate an Isuzu NPR (under CDL) junk truck around DC and suburban Maryland in all traffic conditions
- Safely park/stand vehicle in different neighborhoods and road conditions
- Politely and professionally interact with customers at each job. Exceptional customer service is our expectation.
- As part of a team of 2, safely load customers' items into the truck for disposal, navigating stairs and narrow passages as required without damaging walls or items
- Bring items to donation center or waste transfer station for disposal
- Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
- Assist with moving items as necessary, ensuring proper handling techniques are utilized.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass FMCSA physical at time of hire. Continued ability to qualify for FMCSA medical card is a condition of ongoing employment.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with moving items (50% of the time)
- Ability to sit and operate a class 4 (under CDL) motor vehicle for an 8-hour shift (50% of the time)
