Local Straight-Truck Driver (CDL preferred but not required/ no less than 3 years truck driving experience)
Springfield, VA OR Lanham, MD (Some runs originate out of our Springfield, VA facility and some runs originate out of our Lanham, MD Facility)
*PART TIME*/ALL shifts are Overnight*
Weekends, A MUST. Typical off nights are Wednesday or Thursday
Company is the leading provider of newspapers, magazines and printed material in the DMV. We are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Drivers (CDL preferred / with no less than 3 years documented driving experience).
Driver must be on-time daily and take pride in a professional manner. Responsibilities include load accuracy, timely delivery of print products (newspapers, magazines, etc) and delivery confirmation efforts. Driver will need to obtain a current DOT medical card and is subject to quarterly random drug testing.
Key Job Elements:
- Competitive pay, experience and commercial driver license considered.
- Typical work week is up to 24 hours per week; can be more with supplemental work.
- Nightly start times are between 8pm and 11pm, work until route is completed.
- Weekends, A MUST. Typical off nights are Wednesday or Thursday
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience driving a Box / Straight truck.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Subject to quarterly random drug testing.
