Your Journey
Prepare sushi dishes according to recipes and customer preferences
Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food service
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and execution of food orders

Collaborate with associates to meet production goals and ensure smooth kitchen operations
You are open to learning, developing, and growing both yourself, personally, and helping others do the same
Must Haves
Proven experience as a Sushi Cook or in a similar role
Excellent knife skills and knowledge of various sushi preparation techniques
Strong understanding of food handling and safety regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Ability to collaborate in a team environment with excellent communication skills
Three years minimum of cooking experience in a standalone restaurant or hotel environment
Luxury hotel experience, a plus
Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending over

The pay scale for the Cook I position is $29.00 per hour. The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Pendry reasonably expects to pay for the position.
