Job Description:
The Learning Systems Administrator must develop and maintain a deep and broad functional knowledge of the Learning Management System and all related maintenance and operational workflows and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the system including authoring, publishing, analytics support, project management, and troubleshooting. The Learning Systems Administrator works closely with stakeholders to ensure coursework meets criteria and design standards and provides coaching as needed regarding design, delivery, and measurement options. The Learning Systems Administrator is expected to provide ongoing training and support resources for stakeholders/end-users to maximize effective use of the Learning Management System. As a point of contact between the LMS, the organization, and the vendor, it is essential for this role to build and maintain collaborative relationships
Qualifications
Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor’s degree
Additional requirements:
Type of degree: Information Systems Management, Informatics, Management, Human Resources, Education or related field
Experience
Minimum Level of Experience Required: >1 year
Prior job title or occupational experience: Experience providing systems/database administration and maintenance, including customer interface support for enterprise-wide applications or Learning Management System
Prior specific functional responsibilities: Project management, reporting/analytics
Preferred experience: Familiarity with eLearning development tools including Captivate, Articulate, SCORM/Tin Can, Web technologies (FTP, Flash, HTML5, JavaScript, XML, CSS coding), intermediate Microsoft Office skills
