Job Summary
The Senior Systems Analyst will be responsible for applying system analysis and design techniques to complex computer systems with multiple users, to produce innovative solutions for a variety of complex problems. Gathers information from users, defines work problems, and plan projects to enable analysts and programmers to develop required results.
Essential Functions and Tasks
Guides users in formulating requirements; advises on alternatives and on the implications of new or revised computer systems/applications technology.
Analyzes user project proposals, identifies omissions and errors in requirements, and recommend optimal solutions and develops system design for approved projects.
Coordinate testing scenarios for system changes and enhancements and work with teams to move changes to production.
Prepares and gives presentations to user management for issues and possible solutions, so decisions can be made.
May serve as lead analyst in a design subgroup, directing and integrating the work of analysts, each responsible for several areas or systems.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Ensure proper change management for system changes as well at attend Governance meetings.
Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
One to two (1-2) years of computer support experience, preferred.
Experience with hospital systems, preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, preferred.
Requires knowledge and experience in IDX, for modules BAR, TES and the Payer Contract Module.
Experience of the Athena IDX applications DBMS, Cache SQL, Dictionaries, BAR, TES, 837 claims, 835 remit setup and posting, and HL7 Interfaces.
Work well with others and have communication skills to interact with other departments to determine requirements for system setup and changes.

Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
Ability to interpret and evaluate client informational needs and to determine appropriate alternative solutions.
Ability to develop and/or modify and adapt systems, application configurations, and programs to meet individually specified needs.
Ability to analyze and interpret information systems proposals, and to evaluate and develop alternative implementation plans.
Ability to evaluate and interpret end user information requirements, and to develop appropriate systems and/or applications solutions.
Knowledge of information flow and management environments within area of operational specialty.
Ability to plan, design, coordinate installation, test, and modify complex systems and subsystems.
Ability to assess and maintain quality of programming structure, design, and coding.
