Position: Office Manager - On Site Construction Office
Location: Crystal City, VA

We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant/Office Manager to join our Wagman Heavy Civil, Inc. team. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Administrative Assistant/Office Manager will work closely with entire project team on our Long Bridge Project. The Administrative Assistant/Office Manager assists and supports the project team members and is responsible for general administrative duties and oversight of the onsite office.

Wagman Heavy Civil Inc’s core competencies include design-build, infrastructure, marine construction, modified concrete, grooving and grinding and geotechnical construction services.

Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years office management experience, construction environment experience a plus.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Knowledge of Viewpoint a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented

Essential Functions

Manage day-to-day office operations.
Provide contract and administrative support.
Compose, proofread and edit correspondence.
Develop and maintain various tracking/compliance systems.
Asst with ordering, receiving, invoicing and accounts payable for materials and supplies.
Point of contact for company electronic devices to include ordering/upgrading, billing and trouble shooting.
Order and maintain office supply inventory as well as setting up accounts.
Assist in supervision of Field Office Assistant/Clerk.
Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements of the Essential Functions

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds from ground level to waist level.
Must be able to bend, squat, and kneel occasionally throughout a scheduled work shift.
Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands.
Requires sitting a major portion of an 8-hour day, with standing and walking requires in performance of various tasks less frequent than sitting portion of work shift.
Must be able to reach, lift and stretch throughout the workday.
Clear and comprehensible speech required in order to communicate adequately in performance of this job.
Acceptable corrected vision (in both eyes) and acceptable corrected hearing required.
