Description
Position Objectives:
The PETA Foundation's Corporate Giving and In-Kind Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Corporate Giving department and partnerships. We’re seeking a fundraiser to advance PETA’s partnership work with vegan and cruelty-free companies and secure gifts-in-kind.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
• In consultation with PETA and in verified compliance with the objectives, standards, and requirements communicated by it:
o Assist the Corporate Giving supervisor and team with administrative processes, including partner update and benchmark reports, planning meetings, managing agendas and timelines, and taking timely and accurate notes.
o Oversee the workflow and solicitation of in-kind donations via internal request form submissions, including event silent auctions.
o Manage processes relating to internal “In Kind Donation Received” Form Submissions workflow and maintain its database.
o Develop and deploy a benefit/engagement program for companies who solely support our work through gifts-in-kind
o Maintain administrative duties relating to PETA Business Friends, including maintaining prompt onboarding processes.
o Assist with PETA’s revenue-share partnerships or collaborations with desirable brands
o Support aspects of donor engagement in the social media and website environment
o Maintain and grow engagement with cultivation platforms, including the PETA Shopping Guide website, its social media pages, email campaigns, and others
o Perform research projects on prospective companies and assemble data reports to approach new companies
o Coordinate cultivation efforts such as quarterly PBF newsletters, email promotions, and benefit fulfillment updates
o Soliciting event sponsorship opportunities to relevant companies
o Discover new company prospects and actively promote the PETA Business Friends and other corporate giving programs
o Draft responses to inquiries about a wide range of fundraising and animal liberation topics and respond to inbound emails from PETA supporters, fundraisers, and third-party organizations
• Maintain departmental databases, tracking documents, and archives
• Establish and maintain good communication and relationships at all levels of the organization and PETA and with PETA’s business partners
• Perform any other duties or special projects assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
• Experience with social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, TikTok, Instagram
• One to two years of administrative or office experience
• Proven excellent project management, strategic thinking, and the ability to meet multiple deadlines and organize tasks
• Proven ability to conduct research and carry out prompt correspondence
• Experience with data entry and database maintenance systems
• Proficiency with a variety of Microsoft Office programs, Asana, and WordPress
• Proven excellent attention to detail
• Willingness and ability to travel and represent the organization at conventions and fundraising events
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to always maintain strict confidentiality
• Professional appearance, adherence to a healthy vegan lifestyle, and familiarity with vegan/cruelty-free shopping
• Commitment to the objectives of the organization
The hourly pay range for this position is $16.39 - $22.02 per hour. The ultimate hourly pay within this range that will be offered to a qualified candidate will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and the cost of living in the area in which the candidate will live and work.
